Effective date: September 3, 2026
This Contributor Agreement applies to all text, photographs, video, audio, data, and other material submitted to Racket Sports Times, a pilot publication operated by KOBO Sports LLC (“RST”). By submitting material or accepting a contributor account, you agree to these terms.
Originality, accuracy, and authority
You confirm that your submission is original, accurate to the best of your knowledge, and that you have all permissions needed to submit every included element. Quotations and sources must be identified. You may not submit material that is plagiarized, deceptive, defamatory, unlawful, privacy-invasive, confidential without authorization, or infringing of another party’s rights.
Conflicts, benefits, and AI assistance
You must clearly disclose payments, free products, travel, sponsorships, employment, investments, affiliations, personal relationships, AI assistance, and any other interest that could affect—or reasonably appear to affect—your work. RST may require additional disclosure language or decline the submission.
Editorial review
Submission does not guarantee publication. RST may fact-check, edit, headline, format, reject, delay, correct, update, archive, or remove material. Contributors cannot publish directly. All submissions remain drafts or pending review until approved by an authorized editor.
Ownership and license
You retain ownership of your original work. You grant RST a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to edit, reproduce, publish, distribute, display, promote, archive, translate, and adapt accepted submissions in any media, including the website, app, newsletters, and social media. RST may allow service providers and distribution partners to use the material only for these purposes. The license continues for published, promoted, syndicated, or archived copies.
Credit and reuse
RST will ordinarily use your approved byline but may adjust or omit attribution when reasonably necessary. Because the license is non-exclusive, you may reuse your original work, provided that you do not misrepresent RST, disclose confidential editorial communications, or violate a separate written assignment.
Payment and independent status
Unless a separate written assignment states otherwise, pilot submissions are unpaid. Contributors are independent contributors—not employees, agents, partners, or representatives of RST—and may not make commitments on behalf of RST or KOBO Sports LLC.
Corrections, access, and termination
You must promptly report material errors, rights concerns, or changed disclosures. RST may suspend or terminate contributor access for violations. Termination does not require RST to remove lawful archived, syndicated, previously distributed, or backup copies.
Privacy, governing law, and contact
Contributor information is handled under the RST Privacy Policy. Electronic acceptance is binding. This Agreement is governed by the laws of Arizona, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Questions may be sent to editor@racketsportstimes.com.
