Effective date: September 3, 2026
This Sponsorship, Payment, Cancellation and Refund Policy applies to advertising and sponsorship services purchased from Racket Sports Times, a pilot publication operated by KOBO Sports LLC (“RST”). A written order, checkout page, invoice, or campaign confirmation may include additional terms; if there is a conflict, the more specific written campaign term controls.
What sponsors purchase
Sponsors purchase defined advertising placements, display periods, links, or other deliverables described in the selected package. Sponsorship does not buy favorable editorial coverage, an endorsement, guaranteed traffic, leads, sales, search ranking, or publication of a story. Editorial decisions remain independent.
Approval and advertiser responsibilities
All creative, destinations, products, services, and claims are subject to RST approval. The sponsor confirms that it owns or is authorized to use submitted materials and that its claims are accurate and lawful. RST may reject, pause, remove, or request changes to material that is misleading, unlawful, unsafe, technically harmful, rights-infringing, inconsistent with RST standards, or likely to damage users or the publication.
Disclosure and placement
Paid placements will be identified with clear labels such as “Sponsored” or “Advertisement.” Placement details, device presentation, and approximate timing are described in the package or campaign confirmation. Layout may adapt across screen sizes and may change for security, accessibility, legal, or technical reasons while preserving the material value of the purchased placement.
One-time payments
One-time sponsorship fees are charged when the order is accepted or as stated on the invoice. Work or reservation of inventory may begin after payment is confirmed. Taxes, if applicable, are the sponsor’s responsibility unless collected at checkout.
Monthly sponsorships and renewal
Monthly plans renew automatically at the disclosed interval until canceled. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not retroactively cancel a billing period already started. A sponsor should request cancellation before the next billing date using the account or contact method supplied at purchase.
Delivery, delays, and substitutions
The sponsor must provide complete, usable materials and approvals by the requested deadline. Sponsor-caused delays do not extend a campaign unless RST agrees in writing. If RST cannot deliver a material placement for reasons within its control, RST may provide a comparable placement, extend the campaign, issue account credit, or refund the undelivered portion.
Refunds
Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable after a placement period begins or reserved work is delivered. Before launch, a written cancellation request may qualify for a refund less completed work, non-recoverable costs, payment-processing costs where lawful, and reserved inventory. Duplicate charges and verified billing errors will be corrected. Any approved refund is returned to the original payment method and processing time depends on the payment provider.
Chargebacks and payment disputes
Please contact RST promptly about an unrecognized charge, service concern, or billing error so it can be investigated. Filing a chargeback does not automatically cancel an active subscription. RST may pause placements and future billing while a dispute is reviewed and may provide the payment processor with the order, acceptance record, communications, proof of delivery, and policy terms. Fraudulent or abusive disputes may result in account suspension and recovery of amounts lawfully owed.
Campaign measurement
Any impression, click, or engagement figures are reasonable measurements based on available systems and may be affected by blockers, bots, caching, outages, privacy controls, and third-party services. Unless expressly guaranteed in writing, performance estimates are not guarantees.
Changes and contact
RST may update this policy for future purchases. Material changes do not retroactively reduce already-confirmed deliverables. Questions, cancellations, and billing concerns may be sent to editor@racketsportstimes.com.
